Baptist Men's Meeting
The Baptist Men will meet Wednesday, February 22nd, following the
evening service. Men of all ages are encouraged to attend this meeting.

To Trent and Traci
Cossey on the birth of their son, Braxton Mitchell Cossey. He
was born Thursday, January 26th, 2012. The proud great-grandmother
is Thelma Rose.
Finger Food Fellowship
We will have our monthly finger food fellowship Sunday, February
26th, following the evening services, Everyone is asked to bring
some of their favorite foods and enjoy the fellowship.
Senior Adults
The senior adults will eat at Mama D's restaurant in Calvert
City on Saturday, March 24th. We will leave the church at 4:00
p.m. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.
Father-Daughter
Ball
Life
House is hosting their second annual Father-Daughter Purity Ball
on Friday, March 23rd, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
This is a Christ centered event that encourages Biblical values
and strenghthens the bond between Fathers and Daughters. This
event will be for young ladies that are 6th grade and older and
the cost will be $20.00 per couple (Father-Daughter couple) and
$5.00 each additional Daughter. More information and registration
forms are located in the foyer of the church.
RSVP before February 27th.
Children's
Pinewood Derby
The RA's from the Blood River Association will
have their annual event at the Association Office in Hardin on
Saturday, March 17th, at 9:00 a.m. (Weigh-in begins at 8:00 a.m.)
This is for boys 1st - 12th grades and for adult men. There will
be a Powder Puff Event for girls ages 1st - 12th grades. Cost
of pre-cut cars is $4.90 each. If you would like to order a car
or need more information about the event, please see Jennifer
Tabers. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer (please specify
if you need a new car or if you are using a car from a previous
year).
Offering Envelopes
If you use the envelope system, please be sure
your name and the amount of your contribution is recorded on the
outside of every envelope used. This applies to both tithing
and special envelopes. If you would like to use the envelope
system and failed to sign up, you may call the church office.
These are in boxes with designated numbers.

Pond in Calvert City. Guest speaker will be Beth Leininger, Bilblical
Counselor. Topic: Be Anxious for Nothing. The cost is $10.00 (includes

who has been sick or had surgery and needs help with meals or
